INTRODUCTION TO COACHING COURSES
VLAA will once again be holding “Introduction to coaching courses”. There will be one held at our centre amongst other venues. The course runs from 8.00 am to 5.30pm day and basically gives parents an over view on how to coach and chief events; it can come in handy if you want to coach your child the right way. We are inviting all families to attend, the cost of the course is $99.00, and must be paid for by families. For those of you who wish to take the course with the aim of assisting on training nights or on competition days, Metro will reimburse you ½ the funds at the beginning of the season. If you then help out and training on a regular basis the club will reimburse you the balance at the end of the season. In previous years the club has paid the full amount with parents giving us assurance that they will help out, however this has not eventuated on a few occasions and the club is out of pocket. If you would like to attend please contact Club Secretary, Leeanne Venables for an application form. Please bring this with you on registration day along with full payment as forms need be in a week before the course.
