Welcome to Metro Little Athletics Club

Committee for Season 2009/2010

 

We would like parents to think about joining the Metro Committee. If you have ideas on what direction the club should be going or doing please give great consideration to joining the team and putting your suggestions forward. Some of our existing members have served for some time now and they would love to see some new faces. With this in mind we were very lucky to have been a club this season as we struggled to fill key positions within the committee. Without an executive committee the Club WILL fold. We are all just Mum’s and Dad’s, we don’t have any formal training. We all work together for our kids and yours. We hope that some of you feel the same and join the committee so we can continue our       successes.

State Track and Field Results

 

Congratulations to our following athletes on their great performances at the State Track and Field Championships.

 

Thomas Wilson - Gold Medals in the 70m(PB),100m and Long Jump(PB) and 16th in Javelin

 

Natarsha Inchincoli - Silver Medal in 60m Hurdles(PB)

 

Connor McLean - Silver Medal in 80m Hurdles

 

Caitlyn Rozario - 4th in Discus (PB) and 8th in Shot Put

 

Keely Henderson - 7th in 1500m Walk (PB) and eq 10th in High Jump (PB)

 

Riley Dalton - 7th in Long Jump (PB) and 8th in Triple Jump (PB).

 

A great result for our club and centre.
